LAMLASH PARISH CHURCH
CHURCH NEWS 6.10.19
Welcome to all visitors. We hope you enjoy your time with us,
and please take our good wishes back to your own congregation on your return home. May each one of us know God’s blessing as we worship together. We are very pleased to welcome Mrs. Aileen Brookens to lead our worship.
Lily has had her medical certificate extended to the beginning of November, with the subsequent prospect of a gradual return to work, which would be two half days per week in the first instance. However, it has to be emphasised that her peace and privacy must be respected. This also applies to those who might phone or/email her in normal circumstances from outside the church family, so please let folk know that the first point of contact is Jean Hunter (Interim Moderator) Liz Clarke (locum -pastoral care) or Ian Watt (Session Clerk).
The retiring offering at our Harvest Thanksgiving service last Sunday was £123.40. Thanks to all who contributed. There was for the EcoVeg project run by Christian Aid. EcoVeg is a local, natural farming project, that gives people from India’s excluded and impoverished communities the opportunity to develop their farming skills, enabling them to get good prices for their produce and to work and save collectively.
