Intimations for 29 September 2019

September 29, 2019 by Cams

We are very pleased to welcome Rev Dr Ian MacLeod to lead our worship.

Our Harvest Thanksgiving service will be held Today. There will be a retiring offering for the EcoVeg project run by Christian Aid. EcoVeg is a local, natural farming project, that gives people from India’s excluded and impoverished communities the opportunity to develop their farming skills, enabling them to get good prices for their produce and to work and save collectively.

The next Coffee Morning is being held in the church hall on Wednesday 2nd October from 10.15 – 12 noon, with all the usual stalls. All are most welcome.

Blythswood Shoebox Appeal: Once again we have been invited to support the Shoebox Appeal on behalf of Blythswood Care. Leaflets are available in the Vestibule. As it can be quite expensive to fill a shoebox, a collection boxes have been placed in the Vestibule and in the Church Hall, where you can donate an item/items to be used to fill shoeboxes. The closing date is 20th October. Thank you

Messy Church begins on 10th October from 3pm until 5.30pm. This is for children and families, and all are most welcome.

The National Prayer Weekend, this weekend, is an opportunity to ask friends or family for any requests they may have for prayer, Cards can be found on pews and in the Vestibule Please put any prayer requests in the box in the Vestibule, and they will be prayed over, in strict confidence, by the Faith Development Group.
