Intimations 6 May 2018

May 6, 2018 by Alison Page

Good morning and welcome to church. This morning we welcome Mrs Liz Clarke to lead our worship. May we know God’s blessing as we worship together. If you are a visitor, please take our good wishes back to your own congregation on your return home.

Each Sunday before worship, there is the opportunity to join together in the lesser hall for a short time of prayer beginning at 10.45 am. If you have any prayer request
please speak to Aileen.

The Church of Scotland’s Heart & Soul celebration takes place in Princes Street Gardens Edinburgh from 12:30pm – 6pm on 20th May during the General Assembly.  This is its 7th year and it is a wonderful afternoon, celebrating the life and work of the church!  Thousands attend and there is a festival atmosphere with music, talks and an opportunity to wander through the many ‘villages’ and hear the exciting things other churches are doing in their communities.  From 2pm – 3pm Lily will be in the Path of Renewal tent sharing the work of Lamlash Church and she is looking for a few enthusiastic people to join her.  Please pray for the General Assembly’s week of deliberations and the ongoing work of the Church of Scotland in every parish.
