We welcome Mrs Aileen Brookens, Reader in Training, who joins us today for her final 6 months. Aileen has just completed 6 months with Rev. Angus Adamson. She will be involved in all aspects of worship, school chaplaincy, hospital visits, pastoral care and everything we can squeeze into her allotted hours!
There will be a short meeting of the Music Matters Committee following this mornings’ worship, and all Music Matters volunteers are reminded of the meeting at 1pm in the church hall on Monday 6th.
Next Sunday we are delighted to be welcoming Beverley Millar to the Eldership in Lamlash.

The ‘Bus Pass’ Lunch Club is every Wednesday 12 – 2.30 in the PHT. please consider coming along and being part of our community outreach while enjoying your free soup. Many people don’t come to church so church is going to them! Spare a lunch time to meet and chat with others
In February there are to be two Lectures given by Rev Doug Gay, Of Glasgow University and a Church Minister, offering an analysis of the state of the Church and the choices facing it.
These are being given on 8th and 15th February at 6.30 pm in St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh.
This, of course, suits very few of us, but they are also being delivered on the Church of Scotland’s website.
