Each Sunday before worship, there is the opportunity to join together in the lesser hall for a short time of prayer beginning at 10.45 am. If you have any prayer request please speak to Aileen. All requests can be anonymous – God will know!
The Guild meet Tuesday 6th February at 2pm in the hall when Ain’t Misbehavin’ are joining us.
There will be a Coffee Morning on Wednesday 7th February from 10.15 – 12 noon, with all the usual stalls.
The funeral of Bernie Mitchell-Luker is on Friday 9th February in church at 11.30am.
PHT Bus Pass Lunch is Wednesdays 12 – 2.30 pm. Present your Bus Pass for free bowl of soup with bread.
There will be an Arran Churches Together (ACT) prayer group beginning on Thursday, 15th February at 2.30pm in the Lesser Hall. The group will meet monthly. With our focus as a church being on prayer, it will be an added blessing to pray together as a united church. Please come along and get involved in this important work.
Origami Peace Cranes Please join Alison Page and Elsa Rodeck in the lounge of Trust Homes, McKelvie Road this afternoon (Sunday the 4th of Feb) at 2:15pm and learn how to fold Origami Peace Cranes. We’ll meet for about an hour and have a cuppa – very therapeutic and suitable for anyone from the age of 5 to 105.
The future of the weekly summer coffee mornings is at risk. For the last few years, they have been organised by SIX team leaders who have been doing a great job. Sadly, THREE of these (all octogenarians) have decided to retire, leaving only THREE leaders to cope with the summer. More TEAM LEADERS are needed.
They do not need to be bakers. They need to be prepared to organise a coffee morning. Men are welcome! Thank you to those who stepped up to the plate last Sunday but we still need more help!
