It was reported at the Kirk Session last Wednesday, that we had received over £6000 in GiftAid. This is more than last year, and reflects on the hard work done by Lindsey Marr. It may seem a lot, but when we realise that, for example, it costs about £100 a week to heat the church in winter, we can see this in a more realistic light. As long as you are a UK taxpayer, you can GiftAid so please talk to Lindsey or use the envelopes at the end of each pew (visitors included!). It’s not often we get money from the UK Government nothing!
Help is needed to run the Fete on 27th May. If you can help in any way, please speak to Lily or any of the Elders.
