Good morning and welcome to worship. Welcome to Liz Clarke who will lead our worship today. May we all know God’s blessing as we worship together. If you are a visitor, please take our good wishes back to your own congregation on your return home.
The church will be open 10 am to noon on weekdays during the months of July and August. Thank you to those who volunteered to make this happen. You will enjoy a wide variety of visitors from all over the world.
We are saddened by the death earlier this week of Betty Bremner. Please remember the family in your prayers. The funeral is on Tuesday 31st July at 11.30am.
There is NO Coffee Morning this Wednesday (1st August) in the church hall because of the Farmers’ Show.
The proceeds from the Coffee Morning on Wednesday 8th August from 10.15 to 12 noon in the church hall (behind the church) is for Music matters.
Any baking plus your support would be greatly appreciated. As a special treat and in keeping with Music Matters, Graeme will play for a short time and will accompany some ‘community singing’!
Lily is on holiday 23rd to 30th July. Liz Clarke is providing pastoral cover.
Kirk Session meeting on THURSDAY 2ND AUGUST AT 2 PM. Like all Kirk Session meetings, this is an open and this meeting will include a de-briefing of the recent Church fete. Anyone with a particular interest in this will be especially welcome.
On Sunday August 5th Arran CND Branch are holding a Hiroshima Commemoration event in Lamlash between 2pm and 4pm. Lamlash Church Hall has been booked for speakers/film/ refreshments and there will also be some activities on Lamlash Green, weather permitting.
