Good morning, and welcome to our praise service. A warm welcome to all visitors. We are very pleased to welcome Mrs Aileen Brookens to lead our worship today.
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Liz Clarke’s mother on Wednesday of last week. Please remember Liz and the family in your prayers.
You wil be aware that Robert Marr ‘signed up’ as Treasurer for three years, and his time is up! and we are very grateful for the hard work he has done, along with Lindsey. Added to that is the fact that they intend to leave Arran for pastures new. The bottom line is that we are looking for a new Treasurer.
Any one who has any suitable/interested contacts is asked to speak to Ian Watt. So far despite several approaches by the church, we have found no-one. Please give serious thought to this search’
The last Faith Development Group meeting for the summer will be at Pearl’s house on 30th April. Our thanks to those who have taken part and, of course, to Pearl.
The first Coffee Morning of the summer will be on Wednesday 1st May from 10.15 – 12 noon, with all the usual stalls.
Please join the Knit & Natter group on at 2pm in the lounge at Trust Homes, McKelvie Rd.
A new project involving knitting, making pom poms and/or chatting over a cuppa. Wool will be available and everyone is welcome!
