Good morning, and welcome to our praise service. A warm welcome to all visitors. We hope you enjoy your time with us, and please take our good wishes back to your own congregation on your return home. May each one of us know God’s blessing as we worship together. We are very pleased to welcome Rev John Webster to lead our worship today.
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Iain Auld last Thursday. Please remember Margaret and her family in your prayers.
The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated in both churches next Sunday (2nd June).
The Church Prayer Group will meet at Betty Dick’s home on Monday at 7pm on 27th May. All are very welcome to attend to pray for those in need and, of course, in particular for Lily.
You will be aware that Robert Marr ‘signed up’ as Treasurer for three years, and his time is up! and we are very grateful for the hard work he has done, along with Lindsey. Added to that is the fact that they intend to leave Arran for pastures new.
The bottom line is that we are looking for a new Treasurer. Any one who has any suitable/interested contacts is asked to speak to Ian Watt. So far despite several approaches by the church, we have found no-one. Please give serious thought to this search.
The ACT Prayer Group would like to invite those interested to meet at St Margaret’s at 7pm any time between the 30th May and the 8th June (between Ascension and Pentecost) to pray
for our community on Arran. This has been inspired by the initiative, ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ which began three years ago and is now a global prayer movement. Further information can be found on their website
