There will be an organ recital this afternoon at 3 pm, given by the highly esteemed organist Douglas Bruce. This very high-quality event is to be commended, so please publicise this as much as possible, and come along with friends. Entry is £5 at the door.
It is with great sadness we learned of the death of Ken Shearman. Please remember Sheila and the family in your prayers. Music Matters will miss Ken very much. It was always a joy to see his face light up when the singing began.
Our deep gratitude goes to Ian Watt who has such a willing spirit and takes on so much of what happens behind the scenes. We are grateful to Beverley Millar who is taking over from Ian in preparing the Intimations each week. Please let Beverley have your intimations as early in the week as possible – no later than Thursday 5pm. You can email Beverley on bevmillar@yahoo.com or telephone 600 419.

There will be a Coffee Morning in the church hall (behind the church) on Wednesday from 10-15 to 12 noon. All are welcome to come along for a ” cuppa “, and a chat with friends old and new. There will be the usual stalls.
