Good morning, and welcome to our praise service. A warm welcome to all visitors. We hope you enjoy your time with us, and please take our good wishes back to your own congregation on your return home. May each one of us know God’s blessing as we worship together. We are very pleased to welcome Sharon MacLeod to lead our worship today.
The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated in both churches on 2 June.
The Church Prayer Meeting is following on from the Faith Development Group and will now take place at Margaret Fowler’s home every Monday at 7pm. beginning the 20th May. All are very welcome to come and join us.
Christian Aid envelopes are due to be handed in today. Please make any other arrangement with Joyce Walker.
You will be aware that Robert Marr ‘signed up’ as Treasurer for three years, and his time is up! and we are very grateful for the hard work he has done, along with Lindsey. Added to that is the fact that they intend to leave Arran for pastures new.
The bottom line is that we are looking for a new Treasurer. Any one who has any suitable/interested contacts is asked to speak to Ian Watt. So far despite several approaches by the church, we have found no-one. Please give serious thought to this search.
There will be a Coffee Morning in the church hall (behind the church) on Wednesday from 10-15 to 12 noon. All are welcome to come along for a ” cuppa “, and a chat with friends old and new. There will be the usual stalls.
Please join the Knit & Natter group on at 2pm in the lounge at Trust Homes, McKelvie Rd.
A new project involving knitting, making pom poms and/or chatting over a cuppa. Wool will be available and everyone is welcome!
Please calf Alison on 600963 if you need a lift.
