Good morning, and welcome to our service today. A warm welcome to all visitors. We hope you enjoy your time with us, and please take our good wishes back to your own congregation on your return home. May each one of us know God’s blessing as we worship together. We are very pleased to welcome Mrs Sharon MacLeod to lead our worship.
Fete: the Church Fete takes place on 29th June from 2 -4 pm, and a list of stalls is printed. If you have any suggestions for more stalls, please let Joyce Walker, Aileen Brookens, Robert or Lyndsey Marr or Ian Watt know.
One big change is that we are not using the village green, since traffic is becoming a problem, so for outdoor games etc, the grounds around the church and hall will be used.
We need help, whether it’s setting up, running the stalls, or contributing tombola prizes
Please give this serious consideration, since the more people are involved, the greater the success, both financially and as an enjoyable Church event.
Boxes for donations are provided in the Vestibule and in the Church Hall.
Items can be handed in at the Coffee Mornings or at Church, or at any time to any of the elders.
One of the main earners is the home-baking stall, and we would urge as many as possible to contribute to this.
We also need, please: plants and bottles as well as prizes
What can YOU offer to help?
Open Church It is hoped we might open the church to visitors on weekdays, between 10 am and noon, during the months of July and August. It is a pleasant, relaxing 2 hours, reading your book! newspaper, and occasionally
chatting to interesting visitors. With enough volunteers, the commitment will be only every other week, or possibly once every 3 weeks, on a day of the week of your choice. If you can help, contact David Oakes.
If we don’t get enough volunteers, sadly this will not go ahead.
The Church Prayer Meeting is at 7pm on Monday in Margaret Fowler’s home on ll are very welcome to attend.
The ACT Prayer Group will meet at St. Margaret’s on Thursday, 20th June at 2.30pm. Please note change of
