At the end of our Service of Remembrance today there will be a retiring collection for ‘Help the Heroes’. This is a most appropriate charity to support and we commend it to your generosity.
Poppies and a donation box have been placed in the vestibule.
There will be a short service in the lounge of the Sheltered Housing complex in McKelvie Road at 3pm today. All will be made most welcome
The Faith Development Group are just beginning an
exploration of the Gospel of Luke. We are using Geared for
Growth – a booklet which gives a daily reading and a couple of
questions. There is an opportunity for anyone to share their
responses at the group meeting or to simply listen to others. If
you would like a booklet please speak to Lily or Aileen.
The Singing Group will NOT meet on Wednesday 15th November as Lily and Graeme are not available.
Two generous benefactors are doubling all donations (up to £1.9
million) to Mary’s Meals until 31st December so please join us for
our Sing–along in the hall 2pm – 3.30 on Sunday 26th November
and buy our fabulous festive knits knowing your contribution will
feed and educate twice as many children.

We are still seeking a new editor for the Newsletter to give Alison
