Good morning, and welcome to church. A warm welcome to all visitors. We hope you enjoy your time with us. Please take our good wishes back to your own congregation on your return home.
We are very pleased to welcome Rev. Dr. Ian MacLeod to conduct our service this morning.
As usual we will decorate the Church for the Carol Concert, from 10am on Saturday 3rd December at 10am, and contributions of holly (with berries if possible!) and suitable foliage will be gratefully accepted.
The John Dick Carol Concert will take place in Church on Monday 5th December at 7.30 pm. The collection at the concert will be for CLIC Sargent Scotland (Cancer Care for Children). There will be a rehearsal in Church next Sunday.
The ‘Bus Pass’ Lunch Club is every Wednesday 12 – 2.30 in the PHT. Please consider coming along and being part of our community outreach while enjoying your free soup. Many people don’t come to church so church is going to them! Spare a lunch time to meet and chat with others. We are also planning a Sunday afternoon of Christmas Carols in the PHT at 3pm Sunday 18th December (Please note change of date).
The Guild meets this Tuesday 29th November at 2pm in the hall and is open to everyone. Please join us for a cuppa, chat and Mrs Jean Hunter will give an illustrated talk about her trip to South America. All welcome – men included!
The Singing Group meets on Wednesday 30th November at 5pm in the church hall. This is not a choir, but an enthusiastic group who are learning new hymns as well as loving the familiar ones and helping the praise on Sundays. You don’t have to be a singer to join us! All welcome
