It is a great pleasure to welcome Aileen this morning to lead our worship in her first service as a fully trained and qualified Reader.
The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated on 3rd December. It is a joy to celebrate Advent Communion as we wait expectantly to welcome and worship the Prince of Peace, Emmanuel – God with us.
Good news – we have been accepted for the Church of Scotland Path of Renewal
initiative. This begins for us in January when Lily will attend a three day conference
for the ministers involved. It is exciting to know this step of faith can lead us
forward together to who knows what? God knows! God knows the plans He has for
us. Keep on praying.
The retiring collection last week for ‘Help for Heroes’ amounted to £146. Our grateful thanks to those who donate.

The Newsletter is appreciated and enjoyed by so many but there will be no future Newsletter unless someone steps forward. Is God calling YOU to serve in this way? Mary’s Meals Festive Fundraiser – Sunday 26th November –
Please join us in the Church Hall between 2 and 3:30pm for a lovely afternoon of singing over a cuppa
and a mince pie. Our cute Christmas knitted mindings are much sought after, so don’t miss out!! All
proceeds are helping to feed and educate starving children.

each Sunday before worship, please come along to church at
10.50 am on Sunday 26th November to discuss this. Meetings
thereafter will be a short time of prayer together. Speak to Lily or Aileen if you would like further information about this. The Church of Scotland National Day of Prayer is Saturday 25th November – perfect timing for our prayer plans!

Guild Week 19th – 26th November and our Guild are hosting lunch for St Molios Guild at 12.30pm for 1pm in the hall on Tuesday 21st November.
