Good morning, and welcome to worship. A warm welcome to all visitors. We hope you enjoy your time with us, and please take our good wishes back to your own congregation on your return home. May each one of us know God’s blessing as we worship together.
We are delighted to welcome Rev Dr Ian MacLeod to lead our worship today.
Until Lily is back to work, pastoral work will be carried out by Mrs Jean Hunter. Please contact Ian Watt in the first instance.

HEARTEDGE – at the heart, on the edge – Wednesday 6 February 2019 10am to 3.30pm in St John’s Church Hamilton is for anyone interested in growing the church. The Right Rev Susan Brown, Moderator of the Church of Scotland said, “What Rev Dr Sam Wells has done with his church in response to the community it serves, is amazing, but what is even more amazing is his ability to encourage others. Add to the keynote address, the collective wisdom of a panel including Rev Liz Crumlish, Rev Dr Doug Gay and Rev Dr George Whyte and therein lies a wonderful opportunity for even more thought-provoking and challenging discussion.”
There will also be a time with Rev Robin Hill to ‘Sing with the Swing Band.’ This should be a wonderful day of inspiration and encouragement and it is FREE! If you would like to be there please speak to Ian Watt as soon as possible as booking is now open.
MARY’S MEALS. Thank you to everyone who has handed in donations for Mary’s Meals over the last few weeks. With the UKAid “Double the Love” campaign running until the end of February, your money will be matched £1 for £1.
Graeme McKinnon is generously hosting a Mary’s Meals Dinner in The Brodick Bar & Brasserie on the evening the 6th of February, in time for this campaign. The cost is £25 pp for 3 courses (which will be doubled under Double the Love) with all monies being donated to Mary’s Meals.
