Kirk Session: Ardrossan Presbytery

Last week it was intimated that the Ardrossan Presbytery Plan Revision Team had arranged to visit Lamlash at 11 a.m. on Saturday 1 October. This has now been changed to Saturday 8 October. Can you please confirm to Tony Butcher your availability to attend this meeting as soon as possible.

Change of Constitution

A short congregational meeting was held after the service on 29 May where a vote was taken. The vote was unanimously in favour of changing the constitution from a model to a unitary constitution. This basically involves the merging of the Kirk Session and the Board.

Safeguarding Training

The presbytery’s safeguarding trainer is coming to Arran to run a training course on the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Act, which comes into effect at the end of February 2011.
